First of all, we suggest that you get organise in advance, so you don’t have to choose in a rush, under the pressure of time constraints.
When choosing a ceremony outfit, you should have a clear idea of what is appropriate to wear for the specific type of occasion.
As you may know, guests are ‘forbidden’ from wearing black and white at weddings, and if you choose red, it may be best to veer towards a coral or orange shade.
This is because traditionally red is a very strong and bright colour, which could steal attention away from the bride.
As for weddings with a Dress Code or Theme requested by the bride and groom, even a small detail, such as a stole or jacket, is enough to comply with the theme.
There are no colour restrictions for other types of events!

If you are after an elegant graduation look, it might be nice to coordinate the outfit with the tassel on the cap you will be wearing – a small trick for a very chic and sophisticated finish.
Do you need an outfit for a communion, confirmation or christening in which you are the godmother, aunt or mother of the children? Make sure that your look matches that of the rest of the family. This doesn’t mean wearing exactly the same colour (actually, you should avoid this), rather choose colours that go well together and create a harmonious group.

In general, remember that for ceremonies or events that take place in the morning, it’s best to opt for more discreet dresses, such as formal sheath dresses or elegant women’s suits.
If you love long ceremony dresses even in the morning, our advice is to play it down by opting for colourful patterns and light colours.
From the afternoon until the evening, go for long dresses, mini dresses and jumpsuits.
Always carry a smart stole or jacket in your bag, which will come to your rescue in case the temperature drops.

Which shape should I choose to enhance my figure?

A few small tricks will help you choose what to wear.
If you wish to enhance your cleavage, we recommend a long empire-waist dress, preferably with thin shoulder traps. The tight waist leaves the fabric soft around the hips and belly, without constricting.
A-line dresses and full skirts remain soft around the hips, whereas mermaid models emphasise the hips.
If you have beautiful shoulders that you wish to enhance, ceremony dresses with a halter neck or elegant one-shoulder dresses will give you a sculptural allure.
If you are very tall, long dresses may turn out to be short, so a midi or mini solution might be best, especially when paired with hyper-chic sling backs.
Let’s dispel the myth that petite women don’t look good in long dresses. If you're petite, all you need to do is choose a model that makes you look slender, such as an empire-waist style, and pair it with high (but comfortable) heels. Make sure you adjust the length and there you have it!
